Seniors Day Program Assistant
Assist staff with the delivery of activity programs such as greeting clients when they arrive, serving morning snack and lunch, engaging in conversations with the clients and helping the workers with the planned activities for the day.
Friendly Visitor
Some of our clients can go days without seeing someone to talk to. Our volunteer friendly visitors provide a lifeline to people feeling isolated and alone, especially during the winter. If you can spare 1-2 hours a week to visit an older person or person feeling isolated then get in touch.
Meals on Wheels Driver
We have a fantastic team working hard to prepare delicious and nutritious meals for our clients. Our friendly meals on wheels drivers really help to distribute them to anyone who needs them. If you have your own vehicle and can help then please get in touch.
Transportation Driver
Many of our clients need help and assistance getting to medical appointments. Our volunteer drivers offer a fantastic service offering transportation across the city. It means they don’t have to rely on lengthy public transport journeys to get around. If you have a vehicle and can spare a few hours a week, please get in touch.
Administrative Support
There are various ways volunteers can support our operations such as assisting with the food cupboard, seasonal programs, assisting clients with various applications and confirming appointments with clients.
